For those who had been missing them:
Both tractors stalled out when I went in to start uploading the video... iced fuel filters for everyone!
Luckily they both had managed to get a little heat into the blocks by the time the filters iced, and they thawed by themselves with the fuel flow stopped. I put a healthy glug of Diesel 911 into both fuel tanks and they fired up easily again.
I left both running for nearly 1/2 hour before trying to throttle above idle... That gave enough time for the Diesel 911 to work it’s magic, and get some more heat into the fuel too. No further problems after that.

The little Ford was a completely self-contained start, no block heater used (though it does have one). Those high-temp, hi gh-speed glow plugs I got for it have been a solid investment. With those firey NGKs in the ports, if the fuel is fluid and the starter can spin the engine it * WILL* start. The Zetor is a turbo, so the piston-compression-ratio is a little lower, plus it has like 6000lbs of extra thermal mass vs the Ford. If the block and all the fluids are cold they steal the comp ression heat and it just won’t fire. You can spin it ‘till the battery is dead and it never gets enough heat in the cylinders to fire. NA diesels are much better at starting in the cold, and IDI NA diesels with super-hot NGK glow plugs (like the Ford 1720) are champs in the cold.
